Okay so I just had another rejection for my proposal to exhibit in 2013, (wish I knew if it is because my proposal were not well written, or if the work was not suited for that particular gallery?)
so I decided to give my blog a new look….still a work in progress
maybe it will make me feel better?

Hello π I don’t think one should take critics too seriously. We do live in a relative world filled with people with many interests, opinions, likes and dislikes afterall. You are right….. Happiness is…ambition. Keep it in your mind always. Whenever we strive to achieve perfection in all the things we do, even if its not perfect, the strife to things make perfect always makes us happy. Keep doing what you doing. I enjoy your art. β€ xxxx
Dear Andrea. Thank you for the kind words. I donβt mind being rejected; I just wish that constructive criticism accompanied the rejection letter. I suppose that a gallery can not give constructive criticism to every artist they reject, so a standard letter must suffice. I will try and handle the rejection gracefully, staying true to myself and my vision, while keeping Mrs. Self-doubt away. I would also like to improve my ability to write proposals, and believe that art is a process. As you say we do live in a relative world with lots of opinions. Thank you for yours.
