“Like a Virgin” and “Like a prayer”

Just a quick reminder that the group exhibition: Shades and Tones at the Hermanus Fynarts Festival, opened on the 8th of June and will run until the 17th. So if you are in the area, feel free to pop in.

Curator Dal Botha asked 33 South African artists working with ‘fiber’ to participate in this exhibition. The brief asked everyone to interpret a piece of music or song using ‘textile-art’. I feel honored to be a part of this show.

I chose 2 songs by Madonna and use it as titles for my work in this exhibition.
