It was such an absolute joy working on this commission in two parts!

Earlier this year I received this beautiful wedding photograph of a clients grandmother. What a beautiful bride. At first I was very nervous to rework the original, since this is an actual heirloom!

I then proceeded to have a high quality print made:

After consulting with the patron, I reworked the original photograph and the title is:

“The princess tossed her wedding bouquet”:

Then I continued and altered the print, this time adding a mask and other elements.

The title is: Oh dear my deer!” (inspired by Judy Garland singing “Somewhere over the rainbow” and also partly inspired by Rudolph the red-nose reindeer- since it is almost Christmas)

And voila!
